Renuka Gupta

Feeling stuck? Let’s shake it up and shake it out with Renuka Gupta.  March’s guest artist returns with a fun and dynamic workshop that will focus on the wonderful world of belly dance shimmies. Learn drills or exercises to help promote muscle control and flexibility. Learn to train your “shimmy” muscles for strong and consistent shimmies. We’ll explore additional movements that can be performed simultaneously with your shimmies. Tie it all up with a nice combo that will remind you of the possibilities and take it home to make it your own!

Participants may want to bring a hip scarf or piece of fabric to tie around their hips. They may also purchase/bring a coin-embellished hip scarf, sold at Discount Dance, Lady of the Lake, or other similar merchants.
