The entire community (12-years and up) is encouraged to join us for a free movement experience (no dance training required or needed). We will gather in the OTTCT Dance Studio and create a human mandala (Hu-Mandala), which is a pattern of concentric circles, moving together. Dancing without leaders or followers, feeling connected to the circle, we move as one! It is a lovely way to gather in community and share the dance.

danceXperience: 6:00 – 6:50 PM (Dance Studio) FREE.
Facilitated by: Lori Craig Torok

danceXchange

The much-loved and long-running series which celebrates dance, in all its forms, welcomes the LA’s Kenneth Walker Dance Project to Temecula, as our special guest artist on Tuesday, December 15th in the OTTCT Merc.

Kenneth Walker Dance Project celebrates is 10th year of bringing Contemporary Ballet to life in the Los Angeles area. KWDP grew out of the time when Kenneth, a dancer with the former Ballet Pacifica at the time, and a few of his colleagues created a show to perform at a festival. The success of this project spawned a collaboration that was brought home to the community in which Kenneth was born. KWDP’s first dancers volunteered their talents and time to grow the organization into an exciting collaborative rather than a traditional company. Kenneth invites the thoughts and ideas of his dancers when creating new works and offers dancers the opportunity to find their own voice within the work. The sheer breadth and style of contemporary ballet this company performances is lauded and by fans every time they take the stage.
