Where Dance and Community Meet!

Perform With Us!

Opportunities for Dancers and Choreographers

Temecula Presents and Dance Theatre Collective of Southern California produce danceXchange, a monthly showcase of dance open to all dancers and choreographers who wish to present at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.  The purpose of danceXchange is to give artists a place to perform and hone their craft.  However, the exchange is so much more.  Artists and businesses have a chance to advertise their work to the local dance community, gaining both support and supporters.

Come share your work, learn about other dance-making artists in your community, and gain genuine support for your own work.  All dancers are paid a percentage of the community donations for the monthly raffles, too!

There is no audition to be a part of danceXchange, but the work should be quality.  The performance space is unique, with the audience close to the dance.  danceXchange takes place every third Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM.

Please consider showing something you are working on…finished or still in progress.

All dance forms are encouraged to present.  The more the dancier!

Join the dance community as we celebrate all that is good about dance in our area.  Join the EXCHANGE!

  1. Hi Lori,

I plan on bringing my students next Tuesday, May 21. We will be performing “Scar of the Earth” which is a dance theater piece and “Tecnicus” an Arts Advocacy Work that is forever changing. If time permits, a student choreographed work in progress called “Clocks” is also available. I also had planned to do a community art piece which we briefly discussed at the last Dance Moves. I will have students in place for improvisation that will include the audience. Steve, one of my students will accompany the improvisational community art piece on the piano and congas that I will be bringing from home. Hope this is all okay. Let me know what you think. Looking forward to next Tuesday. What time should we arrive to work in the space?

    • Robin! This is fantastic! I was just writing our press release and will now be able to add this to it, as well. Terrific. I can’t wait to see your work. Thanks for sharing.

Please have your group arrive at 5:45 for a spacing rehearsal. Thanks.

      Lori
